The series title “Women of Ideas” is descriptive of this short but densely argued look at the intellectual and theoretical underpinnings to Adrienne Rich’s political thinking and ideas. Yorke draws upon feminist writing in Rich’s later work up to and including the poems in Dark Fields of the Republic and the prose book What Is Found There (1993).
