Quick Style Guide

Slider Images:

Width: 1500px x Height: 1000px

Width: 470 px x Height: 450 px

Creating the Book Jacket file:

Open Photoshop
Select ‘New’ under the Edit menu
Set dimensions: Width: 470 px Height: 450 px
Select ‘Place’ under the Edit menu and click the book jacket file on your computer to Place it.
Resize the book jacket to roughly to a Height of 427px
Create another layer
Draw a black box with a feather of 15px, approx. 80% the size of the book jacket (you can resize for other book jackets)
Set the black box layer @60% opacity
Drag layer so it falls behind the book jacket
Shift+Option+Command+S will save as a web image.
Alternately, use the PS files on Google Drive and ‘Place’ a new book jacket. The drop shadow is already there and can be resized as needed.

Set the black box layer @60% opacity
Drag the black box layer so it falls behind the book jacket
Shift+Option+Command+S will save as a web image.

To remove line/word spacing of the source (i.e., from a Windows or PDF file)
Shift + Command + V

To keep line/word spacing of the source (i.e., from a Windows or PDF file)
Command + V

You can use multiple colors, bold, italics, and BoldItalic on one line.

Headline and Paragraphs styles, however, must be a carriage return between them.
