Beloit Poetry Journal, a non-profit organization publishing independently and continuously since 1950, has inaugurated an annual Adrienne Rich Award in Poetry. The award celebrates BPJ’s long commitment to poetry of witness, and to supporting poets of social conscience and courage. A prize of $1,500 and publication in Beloit Poetry Journal will be given annually for a poem. Carolyn Forché will judge the inaugural award. Use BPJ’s online submission system to submit up to three poems totaling no more than 10 pages with a $15 entry fee between March 1 and April 30. All entries are considered for publication. Visit the BPJ website for complete guidelines.
