Adrienne Rich’s Poetry and Prose (Norton Critical Edition)

This W.W. Norton Critical Edition first appeared in 1975 as Adrienne Rich’s Poetry,  with a selection of short prose statements by the poet and eight critical essays. It was updated eighteen years later by the original editors, Barbara Charlesworth Gelpi and Albert Gelpi, with the addition of newer poems and important essays by Rich, and additional critical pieces on the work as well as interviews. In 2018, W.W. Norton brought out a greatly expanded second edition drawing from all of Adrienne Rich’s published work, from 1951 to 2012, with an updated section of critical essays, a chronology, and select bibliography.
